How Proof Network keeps people safe.

These standards apply to Proof Network profiles. They take effect when the network launches in your city.

18 and over

Every Proof Network profile requires confirming you are 18 or older.

General area only

Profiles show a city and state. Proof never publishes an exact location or a distance between two people.

Verification

Profiles can be verified. Identity checks are handled by a third-party provider; Proof stores the result, never your documents.

Mutual opt-in before messaging

A connection request carries a short introduction and nothing else. Messaging opens only after both people accept.

Blocking

A blocked person cannot see you in search, send you a request, or message you. Blocking is enforced in every query.

Reporting

Reports for harassment, fake profiles, unsafe behavior, someone under 18, or stolen images are reviewed. Reports of unsafe behavior or an underage profile suspend that profile from search immediately, pending review.

Your images stay yours

You publish portfolio images by choosing them. Nothing is pulled from a delivered gallery, Dropbox, or Google Drive automatically. Tagging a collaborator requires that person to approve the tag before it appears.
